The Texas Cowboys organization is committed to being involved in the community and working collaboratively with groups and organizations that desire to make a positive impact. An opportunity to involve Smokey and the Texas Cowboys with the work of other community groups is something that we value and, as a result, will make every effort to support as many requests as possible.
To ensure the best experience for the Texas Cowboys and the organizations we support, we are committed to quality events that are well planned and executed and also touch the lives of people in the community, especially youth.
The Texas Cowboys organization reviews all appearance requests on a case-by-case basis and will grant or deny appearances based on the specific circumstances of each request. All appearances are subject to an appearance fee which varies based on the nature, time commitment, and distance from the UT Austin campus. Due to academic and athletic obligations, Cowboys gives preference to community service events that occur in the Austin area.
