Membership in Texas Cowboys Alumni Association is limited to those men who have earned the honor to be Texas Cowboys at the University of Texas at Austin. Membership is also available to Texas Cowboys Sweethearts. Texas Cowboys Alumni Association is a separate entity from the Texas Exes. Membership in the Texas Exes does not translate to membership in Texas Cowboys Alumni Association.

Membership in the Association benefits both the Texas Cowboys Alumni Association and the active chapter of Texas Cowboys at the University. Texas Cowboys Alumni membership dues helps support actives through assistance with cannon maintenance, chaps, functions and various other expenses as they arise.
